Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox was born in Aberdeen Scotland on December 25 1954. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox was a student at the Royal Academy of Music, London during the 1970s. She took a course in harpsichord and flautist piano over 3 years. She was able to survive by surviving on a student stipend, as she worked part-time. Lennox as she was studying at the Royal Academy of Music in London, was dissatisfied with her performance compared to that of the other students. She started to think about other options. Lennox played flute in the band Dragons Playground in 1976. She left the band before the band went to I.T.V.s talent contest New Faces. She was the main vocalist of The Tourists a British pop band between 1977 and 1980. In this band, she got to know Dave Stewart and together they formed their duo Eurythmics. Lennox then began to work on her solo debut album Diva that was out by 1992. The album was a massive hit, both in terms of selling and the critical acclaim. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth album by herself was released in October of 2014. The C.D. The C.D. is composed of Lennox's most loved blues, jazz, and soul songs of her youth. Lepidoptera is a compilation of four tracks that she improvised for piano that Lennox released in May, 2019. The E.P. is the companion album to her art installation at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled"Now I'll Let You go...
