Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 Woodland Hills California, youngest daughter and sole child of Richard McCormick. She was raised by a mother who was household worker and father who taught. Michael Dennis Kevin is her older brother. She has three siblings. Beginning at a very early age, McCormick was a singer and dance and would often put on puppet shows for youngsters in the area. At the age of six, McCormick older, she was crowned the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley pageant. Pat Domigan at Jack Wormser Agency phoned and asked if she'd like to go into show business. Her first major role came in 1964, when she appeared in a television commercial featuring Mattels new Baby Pattaburp doll. In the following year, she appeared in the role of Chatty Cathy in a commercial and was then cast for Wind It Up And It's Breaks at The La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick won an audition in 1969 from over more than 1200 children to become the oldest of the three twins on The Brady Bunch TV show The Brady Bunch, starring Florence Henderson as a newlywed together with Robert Reed. The show lasted five seasons. McCormick disclosed in Heres the Story. Surviving Marcia Brady, and Finding My True Voice (published in 2008) that McCormick almost lost her virginity to Barry Williams during the five-year duration of the show. In 2008, McCormick disclosed in her book Heres the Truth: surviving Marcia Brady and Identifying My True Voice, that during season five on the show she almost lost her virginity to Barry Williams. The timing would not have worked for us, she told me.
